Here at Urban Choice our vision is to deliver a comprehensive Choice Based Letting Scheme approved by Government Standards.

Our aim is to adopt the new government scheme, which will allow you to bid on properties instead of waiting for the traditonal way of properties being allocated via a waiting list.

Our main objective is to empower the community by allowing all applicants to have a choice of the home they desire.  This will enable Urban Choice to deliver and create sustainable lettings, which will lead to Community Cohesion.

Urban Choice is now building upon the huge success of the scheme by expanding the boundaries of the scheme to the whole of the Urban Living Pathfinder area, to include 25,000 properties.  Phase two of the scheme will also see the developement of an Affordable Housing Website offering properties for low cost homeownership.   We are also offering other housing providers the opportunities to do the same as the scheme rolls out accross Birmingham.

Urban Choice can offer cost savings to landlords by reducing re let times, and in 98% of cases we have secured a customer for a tenancy before void works have even been completed.

Since the launch of our One Stop Property Shop we have handled more than 9,000 enquiries about the scheme and let a total of 241 properties 78% following a single advertisement.

Current performance figures show us that 95% of our customers are accessing our services through the internet.  Urban Choice have successfully promoted an area seen as a place of last resort into a place of choice with 63% of lettings being to customers who previously lived outside of the project area.
